WASHINGTON, July 1 -- Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has issued a rule called: Pipeline Safety: Clarifying Recordkeeping Requirements for Testing in MAOP Reconfirmation Regulation.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 1 by Benjamin D. Kochman, Acting Administrator.

Summary: PHMSA is clarifying that certain recently adopted recordkeeping requirements for pressure testing do not apply retroactively when determining the applicability of the requirements for reconfirming the maximum allowable operating pressure of certain gas transmission lines.
