WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 -- Sen. Roger Marshall issued the following press release:

U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas) traveled to Mexico City with representatives from six Kansas commodity groups to strengthen the trade relationship between Kansas and Mexico and to advocate for Kansas agriculture and ethanol ahead of upcoming discussions around the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Senator Marshall traveled with leaders from Kansas Corn, Kansas Soybean, Kansas Sorghum, Kansas Wheat, Kansas Dairy, and the Kansas Grain and Feed Association. The trip was at the invitation of Mexican Ambassador to the United States Esteban Moctezuma, whom Senator Marshall met with last fall.
