WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has issued a proposed rule called: Prohibition on Use of Reputation Risk by Regulators.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 30 by Jonathan V. Gould, Comptroller of the Currency. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Summary: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) (collectively, the agencies) are issuing a notice of proposed rulemaking to codify the elimination of reputation risk from their supervisory programs.
