WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 -- Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement has issued a rule called: Montana Regulatory Program.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 13 by Marcelo Calle, Acting Regional Director, Western Region.

Summary: The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) approves an amendment to the Montana regulatory program under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA or the Act). Montana proposed an addition to the Montana Code Annotated (MCA), which would revise and add regulations in the Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM) pertaining to ownership and control.
