OFFICE OF FEDERAL PROCUREMENT POLICY ISSUES RULE: FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION: LIST OF DOMESTICALLY NONAVAILABLE ARTICLES

WASHINGTON, May 12 -- Office of Federal Procurement Policy has issued a rule called: Federal Acquisition Regulation: List of Domestically Nonavailable Articles.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 12 by William F. Clark, Director, Office of Government-wide Acquisition Policy, Office of Acquisition Policy, Office of Government-wide Policy.

Summary: OFPP, DoD, GSA, and NASA (collectively referred to as the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council) are issuing a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to revise the list of domestically nonavailable articles under the Buy American statute.
