WASHINGTON, July 1 -- Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Inorganic Arsenic.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on July 1 by Amanda Laihow, Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health.

Summary: This proposed rule revises some substance-specific respirator requirements to allow different types of respirators to be used under OSHA's Inorganic Arsenic standard and better aligns this standard with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard.
