OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: CADMIUM

WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 -- Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Cadmium.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 20 by Amanda Laihow, Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health.

Summary: OSHA is extending the period for submitting comments by 60 days to allow stakeholders interested in the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on Cadmium additional time to review the NPRM and collect information and data necessary for comment.
