OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NOTICE: MODIFICATION TO THE LIST OF APPROPRIATE NRTL PROGRAM TEST STANDARDS AND THE SCOPE OF RECOGNITION OF SEVERAL NRTLS

WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a notice called: Modification to the List of Appropriate NRTL Program Test Standards and the Scope of Recognition of Several NRTLs.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 3 by Amanda Laihow, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health.

Summary: In this notice, OSHA announces the final decision to: delete test standards from the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL) Program's list of appropriate test standards; and modify the scope of recognition of several NRTLs.
