WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a rule called: Regulatory Guide: Emergency Response Planning and Preparedness for Nuclear Power Reactors.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 25 by Meraj Rahimi, Chief, Regulatory Guide and Programs Management Branch, Division of Engineering, Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research.

Summary: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing Revision 7 to Regulatory Guide (RG) RG-1.101, "Emergency Response Planning and Preparedness for Nuclear Power Reactors."
