NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: DRAFT REGULATORY GUIDE: EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANNING AND PREPAREDNESS FOR NUCLEAR POWER REACTORS

WASHINGTON, March 10 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a proposed rule called: Draft Regulatory Guide: Emergency Response Planning and Preparedness for Nuclear Power Reactors.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 10 by Meraj Rahimi, Chief, Regulatory Guide and Programs Management Branch, Division of Engineering, Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research.
