NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ISSUES NOTICE: US SFR OWNER, LLC; KEMMERER POWER STATION, UNIT 1; DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT

WASHINGTON, June 20 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a notice called: US SFR Owner, LLC; Kemmerer Power Station, Unit 1; Draft Environmental Impact Statement.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on June 20 by Jacob Zimmerman, Acting Director, Division of Rulemaking, Environmental, and Financial Support, Office of Nuclear Material Safety, and Safeguards.

Summary: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is issuing for public comment a draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
