Northern Maine Community College (NMCC) is proud to announce its selection as one of the recipients of nearly $15 million in federal funding designated for Maine's community colleges. Three grant requests submitted by NMCC through the Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) process were included in the recent federal budget package signed by President Joe Biden, totaling $1.46M for the College. This funding aims to fortify NMCC's infrastructure, renovate workforce housing, and expand one of the College's most high-demand programs, diesel hydraulics technology.
