WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 -- National Park Service has issued a proposed rule called: Mammoth Cave National Park; Bicycling and Horses.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 9 by Kevin J. Lilly, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Exercising the Delegated Authority of the Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks.

Summary: The National Park Service (NPS) proposes to amend the special regulations for Mammoth Cave National Park to allow bicycle use on approximately 37 miles of multi-use trails throughout the park. The proposed rule also would allow visitors to ride horses on the 5.4-mile Houchin Ferry North/Ollie Road.
