WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Inventory Completion: University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 18 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.
Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the University of Kansas has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary object and has determined that there is no lineal descendant and no Indian Tribe or Native Hawaiian organization with cultural affiliation.
