WASHINGTON, July 10 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Inventory Completion: Oregon Historical Society, Portland, OR.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on July 10 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.

Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Oregon Historical Society (OHS) has completed an inventory of human remains and determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the human remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice. The human remains were likely removed from Memaloose Island, Wasco County, Oregon by the Oregon Alpine Club (OAC).
