WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Intended Repatriation Amendment: Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, Indianapolis, IN.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 11 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.
Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields has amended a notice of intended repatriation published in the Federal Registeron December 16, 2025. This notice amends the Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations with cultural affiliation.
