WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Intended Repatriation: St. Louis County Historical Society, Duluth, MN.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 18 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.
Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the St. Louis County Historical Society (SLCHS) intends to repatriate certain cultural items that meet the definition of objects of cultural patrimony and that have a cultural affiliation with the Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice.
