WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Intended Disposition: Tennessee Valley Authority, Knoxville, TN.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 10 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.
Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Tennessee Valley Authority intends to carry out the disposition of human remains and associated funerary objects removed from Federal or Tribal lands to the lineal descendants, Indian Tribe, or Native Hawaiian organization with priority for disposition in this notice.
