WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a notice called: Marine Mammals; File No. 29017.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 16 by Shannon Bettridge, Chief, Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Conservation Division, Office of Protected Resources, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: Notice is hereby given that Alaska Department of Fish and Game, P.O. Box 25526, Juneau, AK 99802, (Responsible Party: Lori Quakenbush, Ph.D.), has applied in due form for a permit to conduct research on seven whale species.
