NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NOTICE: ATLANTIC HIGHLY MIGRATORY SPECIES; SCHEDULES FOR ATLANTIC SHARK IDENTIFICATION WORKSHOPS AND PROTECTED SPECIES SAFE HANDLING, RELEASE, AND IDENTIFICATION WORKSHOPS

WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a notice called: Atlantic Highly Migratory Species; Schedules for Atlantic Shark Identification Workshops and Protected Species Safe Handling, Release, and Identification Workshops.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 23 by Kelly Denit, Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: Free Atlantic Shark Identification Workshops and Safe Handling, Release, and Identification Workshops will be held in January, February, and March of 2026.
