NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: UNIFORM PROCEDURES FOR STATE HIGHWAY SAFETY GRANT PROGRAMS

WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Uniform Procedures for State Highway Safety Grant Programs.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 19 by Peter Simshauser, Chief Counsel, NHTSA.

Summary: This action proposes revisions to certain documentation requirements relating to public participation and engagement in the Uniform Procedures for State Highway Safety Grant Programs.
