WASHINGTON, May 30 -- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 217; Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 30 by Peter Simshauser, Chief Counsel.
