MAYOR CHRISTENSON AND CITY COUNCIL ANNOUNCE VACANCIES ON THE POLICE COMMUNITY ADVISORY COUNCIL

MALDEN, Mass., Feb. 7 -- The city of Malden issued the following press release:

Mayor Gary Christenson and the City Council are reaching out to Malden residents to fill five (5) positions on the newly formed Police Community Advisory Council (PCAC). Pursuant to City of Malden Code, 2.16.160, the PCAC consists of seven (7) members in total with five (5) appointed by the Mayor and City Council and two (2) youth members appointed by the Superintendent of Schools. Employees of the Malden Police Department are not eligible, nor may there be a police officer in applicant's household.
