U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) introduced legislation (https://www.lee.senate.gov/services/files/19AA97E6-3DAE-401F-BDDF-D7405885CE7F) to terminate the U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF), a fraudulent foreign aid agency made defunct by an Executive Order from President Trump. USADF's Director of Financial Management Mathieu Zahui pled guilty today to corruption in awarding government contracts and accepting bribes. The Terminate Unaccountable Spending, Abuse, Deception, and Fraud (USADF) Act will permanently scrub the USADF from statutory law, supporting President Trump's agenda to eliminate fraud and waste from the federal government.
