Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement after the Connecticut Supreme Court unanimously ruled in Amadasun v. Armstrong that South Windsor Councilman-elect Harrison Amadasun's case can go to trial.
Following his election to the South Windsor Town Council (https://www.wtnh.com/news/connecticut/hartford/south-windsor-democrats-appeal-suit-alleging-town-gave-council-seat-to-republican-with-fewer-votes/), officials blocked him from being rightfully seated on the Council by illegally citing a revision to the Town Charter that is not due to go into effect until 2027, instead seating a Republican candidate who received almost 1,000 fewer vot...
