U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith (D-MN) announced that Congress approved $4,500,000 in funding to advance water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Barnesville, Moorhead, and Elizabeth. The legislation now goes to the President's desk to be signed into law.
"Current water and wastewater infrastructure need to be upgraded to meet the growing needs of these northwestern cities," said Klobuchar. "The federal funding we secured will help Barnesville, Moorhead, and Elizabeth make improvements to these critical public services."
