INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REGARDING THE PRESCRIPTION DRUG MACHINE-READABLE FILE REQUIREMENT IN THE TRANSPARENCY IN COVERAGE FINAL RULE

WASHINGTON, June 2 -- Internal Revenue Service has issued a proposed rule called: Request for Information Regarding the Prescription Drug Machine-Readable File Requirement in the Transparency in Coverage Final Rule.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 2 by Philip J. Lindenmuth, Acting Associate Chief Counsel (Employee Benefits, Exempt Organizations, and Employment Taxes), Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury.
