1. Held: The appellate court remanded the cause for a preliminary inquiry into defendant's unaddressed pro se posttrial claims of ineffective assistance of counsel.

2. Defendant, Arthuro L. Crawford, appeals his convictions for criminal sexual assault (720 ILCS 5/11-1.20(a)(1) (West 2022)), two counts of aggravated domestic battery (720 ILCS 5/12-3.3(a), 12-3.3(a-5) (West 2022)), and one count of unlawful restraint (720 ILCS 5/10-3 (West 2022)).
