This week, President Trump signed five Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 bills into law, which include an additional $15 million in Community Project Funding for North Alabama secured by Congressman Dale Strong, a member of the House Appropriations Committee. This marks over $33 million secured by Congressman Strong in FY26 Community Project Funding for the Fifth District.
The funding, included in H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026, makes vital investments in transportation and infrastructure improvements and workforce development initiatives across AL-05.
