Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) today joined Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) in introducing the bipartisan Delivering for Rural Seniors Act. This bill would establish a three-year pilot program under U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to expand home delivery options for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).
The CSFP (https://www.fns.usda.gov/csfp/commodity-supplemental-food-program) is a federal food assistance program that provides monthly food boxes to eligible low-income seniors.
