Congressman Abe Hamadeh (AZ-08) is proud to announce that his Veterans Readiness & Employment Transparency Act heads to the Senate after receiving broad bipartisan support. Passing on a 402-2 vote, the bill will improve access to - and responsiveness from - the Veterans Readiness and Employment (VR&E) program.
During the legislative process, the bill was included in H.R. 980, adding:
* On-campus educational and vocational counseling by others outside the VA - non-VA personnel or contractors.
* Non-degree flight training courses as an option for training opportunities
