WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 -- Sen. John Hoeven issued the following news release:

Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, today joined an agriculture roundtable at the White House with President Donald Trump and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins to announce $12 billion in assistance to help the nation's agriculture producers. The Farmer Bridge Assistance program will be administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) with assistance expected to be distributed by the end of February 2026.
