WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- Sen. Josh Hawley issued the following press release:

U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) announced that the Army Corps of Engineers has committed to provide $40.5 million in additional funding devoted to the cleanup of Coldwater Creek and related sites in the St. Louis region. The funds will be used for remediation activities under the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) to clean up radioactive waste dating from the Manhattan Project.
