U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement after he voted in favor of the Crapo-Cassidy plan, the Health Care Freedom for Patients Act, a proposal to make health care more affordable. Graham also voted against the Senate Democrats' plan to extend Covid-era Obamacare subsidies, which would have continued to send taxpayer dollars directly to insurance companies that are making record profits while providing expensive and inadequate health care coverage to Americans.
