Today, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand released the following statement on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia's preliminary injunction (https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/02/climate/judge-offshore-wind-sunrise.html) allowing the Sunrise Wind project to resume construction following the Trump administration's stop work order, which constituted another brazen attack (https://www.doi.gov/pressreleases/trump-administration-protects-us-national-security-pausing-offshore-wind-leases) on New York's energy economy:
