WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 -- General Services Administration has issued a rule called: Federal Travel Regulation; Reorganizing and Streamlining the Federal Travel Regulation To Improve Operational Efficiency.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 8 by Larry Allen, Associate Administrator, Office of Government-wide Policy.

Summary: To implement the President's Deregulatory Initiatives, and to better reflect modern travel operations while still accounting for statutory requirements, GSA is issuing this final rule amending the entire Federal Travel Regulation (FTR).
