WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 -- Forest Service has issued a proposed rule called: Subsistence Management Regulations for Public Lands in Alaska-2027-28 and 2028-29 Subsistence Taking of Fish and Shellfish Regulations.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 12 by Crystal Leonetti, Director, DOI-Office of Subsistence Management.

Summary: This proposed rule would update regulations for fish and shellfish seasons, harvest limits, methods, and means related to taking of fish and shellfish for subsistence uses during the 2027-2028 and 2028-2029 regulatory years.
