FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: NONPRESCRIPTION DRUG PRODUCT WITH AN ADDITIONAL CONDITION FOR NONPRESCRIPTION USE

WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- Food and Drug Administration has issued a rule called: Nonprescription Drug Product With an Additional Condition for Nonprescription Use.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 27 by Dorothy A. Fink, Acting Secretary.

Summary: In accordance with the memorandum of January 20, 2025, from the President, entitled "Regulatory Freeze Pending Review, " the effective date of the final rule, entitled "Nonprescription Drug Product With an Additional Condition for Nonprescription Use, " (ACNU) is delayed until March 21, 2025.
