FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: LISTING OF COLOR ADDITIVES EXEMPT FROM CERTIFICATION; GARDENIA (GENIPIN) BLUE; CONFIRMATION OF EFFECTIVE DATE

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Food and Drug Administration has issued a rule called: Listing of Color Additives Exempt From Certification; Gardenia (Genipin) Blue; Confirmation of Effective Date.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 1 by Grace R. Graham, Deputy Commissioner for Policy, Legislation, and International Affairs.

Summary: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or we) is confirming the effective date of August 29, 2025, for the order that appeared in the Federal Registerof July 15, 2025.
