WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 -- Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a proposed rule called: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Threatened Species Status With Section 4(d) Rule for the Borneo Earless Monitor.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 14 by Justin Shirley, Principal Deputy Director, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Summary: We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), propose to list the Borneo earless monitor ( Lanthanotus borneensis), a lizard species from Borneo, as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act).
