WASHINGTON, July 1 -- Federal Transit Administration has issued a rule called: Transportation for Elderly and Handicapped Persons.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 1 by Tariq Bokhari, Acting Administrator.

Summary: This rulemaking rescinds the FTA regulation on Transportation for Elderly and Handicapped Persons, as FTA finds that the regulation is obsolete and unnecessary.
