FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: SCHOOL BUS OPERATIONS

WASHINGTON, July 1 -- Federal Transit Administration has issued a rule called: School Bus Operations.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 1 by Tariq Bokhari, Acting Administrator.

Summary: The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is revising its regulations governing school bus operations to update outdated information and harmonize the regulation with current statutory language and existing practice.
