WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 -- Federal Housing Finance Agency has issued a rule called: Fair Lending, Fair Housing, and Equitable Housing Finance Plans.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 6 by Clinton Jones, General Counsel, Federal Housing Finance Agency.
Summary: The Federal Housing Finance Agency ("FHFA" or the "Agency") is issuing this final rule to repeal the Fair Lending, Fair Housing, and Equitable Housing Finance Plans regulation ("part 1293"). After considering public comments received in response to the proposed rule FHFA published on July 28, 2025, this final rule adopts the proposed rule without change.
