WASHINGTON, June 4 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Special Conditions: Delta Flight Products, Non-Rechargeable Lithium Batteries and Battery System Installations.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 4 by Patrick R. Mullen, Manager, Technical Policy Branch, Policy and Standards Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: These special conditions are issued for a supplemental type certificate (STC) to install non-rechargeable lithium batteries and battery systems on certain transport-category airplanes.
