FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: ESTABLISHMENT OF UNITED STATES AREA NAVIGATION (RNAV) ROUTES T-492 AND T-494; EASTERN UNITED STATES

WASHINGTON, May 12 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Establishment of United States Area Navigation (RNAV) Routes T-492 and T-494; Eastern United States.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 12 by Brian Eric Konie, Manager (A), Rules and Regulations Group.

Summary: This action establishes United States Area Navigation (RNAV) Routes T-492 and T-494 in the eastern United States. This action supports FAA Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) efforts to provide a modern RNAV route structure to improve the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System (NAS).
