FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: ESTABLISHMENT AND AMENDMENT OF MULTIPLE UNITED STATES AREA NAVIGATION (RNAV) ROUTES; EASTERN UNITED STATES

WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Establishment and Amendment of Multiple United States Area Navigation (RNAV) Routes; Eastern United States.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 3 by Brian Eric Konie, Manager (A), Rules and Regulations Group.

Summary: This action establishes United States Area Navigation (RNAV) Route T-553 and amends RNAV Routes T-356, T-358, and T-479 in the eastern United States. This action supports FAA Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) efforts to provide a modern RNAV route structure to improve the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System (NAS).
