The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 16 by Dallas W. Lantz, Acting Manager, Operations Support Group, ATO Central Service Center.
Summary: This action amends the Class E airspace at Iron Mountain Kingsford, MI. This action is the result of an airspace review conducted due to the decommissioning of the Iron Mountain very high frequency omnidirectional range (VOR) as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program; brings the airspace into compliance with FAA orders; and supports instrument flight rule (IFR) procedures and operations.
