WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Amendment of Class E Airspace; George West, TX.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 3 by Jerry J. Creecy, Acting Manager, Operations Support Group, ATO Central Service Center.
Summary: This action amends the Class E airspace at George West, TX. This action is the result of an airspace review conducted due to the decommissioning of the Three Rivers very high frequency omnidirectional range (VOR) as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program. It also brings the airspace into compliance with FAA orders and supports instrument flight rule (IFR) procedures and operations.
