WASHINGTON, March 10 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Amendment of Class E Airspace; Edenton, NC.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on March 10 by Patrick Young, Manager, Airspace & Procedures Team North, Eastern Service Center, Air Traffic Organization.
Summary: This action amends Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface for ECU Health Chowan Hospital Heliport, Edenton, NC. Additionally, it corrects the Northeastern Regional Airport name along with correcting coordinates for Northeastern Regional Airport. Controlled airspace is necessary for the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at this heliport.
