FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES; SAFRAN HELICOPTER ENGINES, S.A. (TYPE CERTIFICATE PREVIOUSLY HELD BY TURBOMECA, S.A.) ENGINES

WASHINGTON, July 2 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Safran Helicopter Engines, S.A. (Type Certificate Previously Held by Turbomeca, S.A.) Engines.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 2 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Safran Helicopter Engines, S.A. (Safran) Model ARRIUS 2B2 engines.
